Theseus® Titanium 40 devices are designed for smart card applications, including Subscriber Identity Modules (SIM, U-SIM), identification cards, and financial applications. SST® smart card devices can be used in any situation where information needs to be stored securely.

SST uses industry-standard processors, including the 8051 microprocessor core.

These products also use SST SuperFlash® non-volatile memory technology, providing the following benefits:

SuperFlash is designed as user-configurable memory, which allows the smart card code developer to configure device memory to store code or data. The uniform page-size design allows code efficiency to translate into extra data space.
